I’m surprised that it’s so small, too. In a previous life, I sold oil tools that were specifically for repairing busted wells. Nothing for deep sea wells, however. All of our blowout preventers were for above ground use only. The problem of capping a well that’s thousands of feet down in the ocean is hard to fathom, so to speak.
