And, China’s treatment of cats is worth its own set of protests.

Good Lord… Sickening. Clearly, China should be destroyed, or at least pressured to stop this madness.

Yes! Lets us cleanse China in response to its cleansing. I think you miss the point. Cat cleansing is an outgrowth of totalitarianism like all totalitarian impulses it is single minded; there is only one solution and it must be pushed singlemindedly and forcefully. Your solution is like the problem.
